Campfire Pancakes

One of the absolute best parts of camping is making food over an open flame, especially breakfast! Few things are better than waking up to percolate some coffee and fry up bacon and eggs in the chill of the morning before venturing out for the day. Here's a super simple pancake recipe you can prep before heading out with minimal clean up. Bring on da maple!

Camp Pancake Jar:

1 cup self rising flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon

Once at camp add in 1 egg, 1 tbsp melted butter, and 1 cup milk; close lid and shake to mix.

Other campfire breakfast essentials include bacon, sausage, baked beans, fried eggs, or toast. We personally love all of them, but pick your favs to along with pan

Camp S'mores 5 ways

1. Classic S'mores

Marshmallows, graham cracker, and milk chocolate- the classic camp snack. For an added twist try using dark chocolate, sea salt & caramel, or a fruit & nut chocolate bar.

2. Salted Peanut Butter

Sub graham crackers and hershey's for a pretzel thin and peanut butter cup. Yum!

3. Chocolate Chip Cookie S'mores

Melted chocolate and gooey marshmallow sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies. Extra points is using homemade cookies!

3. White Chocolate & Raspberries

Spice it up even more with sugar or tea cookies instead from graham crackers.

4. Donut S'mores

Sub graham crackers for a sliced glazed donut, or any donut, really. This one's only for the brave.
